About the Performance

The Legasi Multicultural Cultural Performance Showcase is a special invitation platform for cultural performance centres, enrichment centres, academies, schools, and community groups to showcase their students on a meaningful public stage.

This showcase celebrates Malaysia’s rich multicultural heritage through various forms of cultural expression β€” allowing students to perform, express themselves, and shine in a supportive, family-friendly environment.

✨ This is not a competition β€” it is a celebration of culture, confidence, and community.


🏫 Who We Invite

We warmly invite participation from centres and groups offering:

  • πŸ’ƒ Cultural & traditional dance
  • πŸ₯‹ Wushu & cultural martial arts
  • 🦁 Lion Dance & traditional performance arts
  • πŸ₯ Cultural drumming & percussion
  • 🎢 Traditional & cultural music performances
  • 🎭 Other cultural or heritage-based performances

Centres are encouraged to register their students or performance teams to represent their cultural art forms.

Open to students aged 5–17 years old


What Students Will Do

  • Perform a cultural or heritage-based performance (traditional, contemporary interpretation, or cultural fusion)
  • Perform as a solo or group, representing their centre
  • Share cultural stories through movement, music, rhythm, or martial expression

✨ Professional-level experience is not required
✨ Confidence, teamwork, discipline, and enjoyment on stage matter most


Performance Formats May Include

  • Dance performances
  • Martial arts demonstrations (e.g. Wushu)
  • Lion Dance segments
  • Cultural music or instrumental performances
  • Drumming & rhythm-based showcases
  • Multicultural fusion performances

  • Support enrichment centres by providing a professional performance platform
